AfrikCru is a technical integration service. It connects a merchant's business to third-party APIs (such as PawaPay) on their behalf, as a software tool — it does not hold funds, does not act as a payment intermediary, and does not perform Know Your Customer (KYC) checks for any merchant. Each merchant contracts directly with the third-party providers they choose to connect (creating their own account, completing their own KYC, and controlling their own settlement account with that provider).
